Waited at the cookware section for 30 mins for a sales person to assist but none came. Went over to the cashier to ask for help. The cashier (more than 3 there) said they were all pulled to do cashier duty and ask me to wait. So i waited around for another 30 mins. Even when the queue died down to just a few left and I asked for help again, they still refuse to just send 1 out to help. I give up

"The $1 bag seems too expensive for you." On 17 Sep 2023 at 3:45pm, I had an unfortunate encounter with a cashier named Ng Geok Ling at BHG Junction 8. When I approached the counter on the right, Ms. Ng loudly tapped the table with her palm, signaling for me to switch to her counter. She asked for my contact number linked to my membership account, and after a wait of approximately three minutes, she remarked, "Your account is useless; it's merely for display." She then proposed that I sign up for a membership. I politely declined, stating my infrequent shopping habits, to which she responded with a sarcastic comment, "All of you say that, but they always come back." When she asked if I required a bag which would cost $1, I said yes. However, my spouse said she might have a plastic bag and took a brief moment to search for it, Ms. Ng commented on our transparent plastic bag as being "xia suey." She then commented "the $1 bag seems too expensive you, there is a $0.20 one, $1 is too expensive for you". I was taken aback and did not respond. This incident ranks among the poorest customer service experiences I've ever endured, with Ms. Ng's table-tapping gesture and continuous sarcastic remarks being particularly distasteful.

Bought a set of lousy bedsheets brand - Bountiful Living that cost almost $100. Went back washed, and it became rough as hell. Tried to get back a refund but the sales person wouldn't budge. Thank god, BHG store filipino manageress believed us, and did us justice by returning us the full amt. Kudos to BHG for having her as a manager at Bishan. P.S. Do not buy sheets from bountiful living, they are lousy and not worth the price or effort. Couldn't find their google account or I would have left them a bad review.

Being a long-time Bishan resident ...since Seiyu left J8 ... had seen BHG changed thro' the years ...now they have a new refreshing look ... more appealing to the younger or family shoppers ... the merchandising display has improved a lot since the previous time ... on-line shopping, new shopping concept, etc had taken a toll on the big dept store biz .. but i guess BHG is gunning back into the mkt

Wanted to buy a Tiger Thermo for my child. When I asked the sales girl about the difference between two Thermos, she said the main difference was their size. However, when I asked if there were any other differences besides size since the packaging was different, she mentioned that one of them can hold porridge while the other cannot. I asked if this was due to the material, but she explained that it was because the smaller one wouldn't fit porridge？？ The entire time, she wasn't nice and seemed she didn't want any customers.
